Official Date Announced

Fellow Mr. D competitors,

Mr. Davidson "Are you past your prime," has been re-scheduled from its original May date. After counting the blogged votes, The August/September date received the most votes, and was also not 'zeroed-out.' Therefore, Mr. Davidson 2007 will take place on and around the Davidson campus Friday, August 31 to Monday, September 3. Mr. Davidson will commence with an Olympic Dinner on Friday night. Competition will take place over the course of 2 days, and closing ceremonies will include a dinner on Sunday night. Please make the appropriate arrangements to arrive in time for a 7pm dinner in Davidson, North Carolina on said Friday night. And with the Labor Day holiday, see to it that your travel plans include Sunday night's closing ceremonies.
The planning committee will be gathering information on hotel rates as it has been requested that we all stay in the same ''Olympic Village." The official events will be announced by noon on Tuesday.
